“We Are the Image of Divine Love”
Sunday, February 16, 2020
Preparation: Put a candle, bread and drink in front of you.
Call to Gather
Light a candle
During this season of Valentine’s Day, Black History month, impeachment, presidential debates, elections, and family problems, and illnesses, it is important to affirm our community. As we plan for another year of sharing, praying, working together, and supporting one another, let us remember that “We Are the Image of Divine Love.” Each of us here embodies this Holy One. Let us remember our times together, and see Divine Love reflected in the beautiful people here.
Song: “I see God in You” by India Arie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWxTk4W7PMg
I wonder, I wonder if you really knew, that I see God in you.
And I wonder if you can see how much you mean to me.
I know you cannot read my mind
But I hope you feel the vibe
I think it’s time I let you know that
I see the God in you. Ah yeah…
Ah yeah, ah yeah
Every time that I see your face, I wonder what lies beneath your smile
What are your dreams, what are you fears, what does your heart hold dear?
Now I know that you don’t know me at all, but if you know yourself,
you know me very well.
Prayer
Holy Imagination, Healing God, Divine Love, you bring us together to celebrate that each of us is a gift of your sacred love. As we come into your community, we are conscious of your presence as we see sacredness in one another. You are here in our discovery and in the joy it brings us in this holy moment as we celebrate your spirit in each of us. We are grateful. Amen. Blessed Be. Let It Be So.

Eucharistic Sharing
How do we see God, the Healing One, Divine Love in one another? As our Eucharistic Sharing today, let’s take time to tell one another. You can simply say, “I see God in you N.” Or you can be more specific by naming how you see God in that person.
Our bread and drink are blessed by the holiness among us. Let us eat and drink with gratitude for the God we see among us and for the Divine Love we share with one another, our LGBTQ+ community, and the world.
