In Memory of Her: Elizabeth Thoman, CHM

WATER mourns the death of longtime friend and colleague Liz Thoman, a member of the Congregation of the Humility of Mary, who pioneered in the field of media and values from a feminist perspective. Liz died over the holidays after several years of declining health.

We are happy to share the video and blog post of her June 2014 visit to WATER when she spoke at length with our staff. The video is a grand example of her tireless teaching, activism, and creativity.
