Anglican postcolonial theologian Kwok Pui Lan will discuss the pathfinding new book The Anglican Church and Palestine which she edited. She will share how Anglican theologians reflect on colonialism, Christian Zionism, and war and conflict. She will highlight Palestinian women’s work for justice, peace, and reconciliation and the implications for the global church. This is a timely introduction to the British Empire’s colonial legacy in Israel/Palestine and the roles played by The Church of England and The Episcopal Church in light of the current conflict.
